Coach Report post Posted December 24, 2018 Thanks Brian. Man it's weird. When I first moved here back in the '80s the hardest part about ice fishing was either the long trudge in with a couple feet of snow, or drilling half a dozen holes through 12-18" ice. Guess it's just a sign of the times. I know some old guys who used to drive out on Rainbow Lake and cut blocks for their ice house every winter. Can't remember the last time I saw it iced over.
