azbirdhunter88 Report post Posted December 12, 2018 I was looking at some left over Javelina tags online today and made me think about some stuff. Why can’t we buy them online? For some people a game and fish office is far away and we don’t have the time to go there. I think if they sold tags online they would sell a lot more and faster. I’m not sure if all eventually get sold or if some never get sold. I would bet that people would buy tags online for just the fact it was an easier process. Just my thoughts though.

According to what is being said on other threads.....it is headed that way.....first come first serve online.......sounds good to me......
azbirdhunter88 Report post Posted December 13, 2018 Just easier than going in. Weather in person or online they get your money.
Ohthatguy Report post Posted December 13, 2018 If one is willing to go hunt the things, I cant believe a trip to a GnF office would be a deal breaker. Printing licenses, sure, but big game tags sounds like a disaster.
CatfishKev Report post Posted December 13, 2018 Not necessarily a deal breaker, however you have to consider they have banker hours. Not always easy to get up there Monday through Friday 9-5. Sierra Vista, Douglass, Safford etc 1-2 hours minimum one way drive.
goinhuntn Report post Posted December 13, 2018 If they sold them online they would probably sell out in the first couple days!! A trip to game & fish for me is out of the question as I'm working out of state Monday thru friday.
oz31p Report post Posted December 13, 2018 It’s 2018. Can’t you just buy the tag/license online and have them mail it to you
Northern Pintail Report post Posted December 13, 2018 You can still mail in an app after the first week

Mailed it in from Gilbert, processed within 3 business days.
Flatlander Report post Posted December 13, 2018 The reason folks want to leave it alone is because the current format creates some barrier to entry. You can’t jusy buy it online and have it shipped like its amazon. At least the current method requires a minimal level of effort that allows the leftovers to be somewhat realistic and not an absolute free for all like they are Garth Brooks tickets or something.
