cameraland Report post Posted December 12, 2018 Manfrotto makes a great kit with this tripod. The MK290XTC3-BHUS has a ball head which many people use when glassing. The kit normally is $334.99, would be $249.99 right now. I prefer a fluid head with a panning handle. Promaster has a great head the SPCH20. Many people use the ball head to keep the profile a little smaller. If you will be doing a lot of panning then the Promaster head is a great option. Normally $89.99, would be $74.99 The Manfrotto tripod is a 3 section and goes 71" high, a little higher with the Promaster head. Feel free to call me with any questions Joel 516-217-1000 Camera Land
