Have you guys ever seen anything like this?

This is is the buck that my hunting partner killed with me this year. The taxidermist doing his euro mount discovered that the deer has upper canine teeth. I know that millions of years ago most ungulates did have tusks, and some species still do but i have never seen this in all of my life. Has anyone else seen this in a deer?

I have. It’s a resesive gene that shows up now and then. I’ve never seen it in a mule deer but several coues deer

Just special ed i guess. Not sure what is over the antlers. Pics are from the taxidermist.

Just checked the bucks we took this year one of them has it as well. Never noticed it before but never looked either.
