BRichard Report post Posted September 19, 2018 So im looking at buying some glass for AZ whitetail hunting and general wildlife observation. I went to the local cabellas to look through a cpl different ones. So out of all the glass in my price range (sub 1k) the monarchs really stood out. and honestly, i liked them waaaay more then the 1k Vortex's i looked through. So i was looking at possibly picking up the 10x42s........ Is there any reason this wouldnt be a good idea? This is going to be my first experience unting the west coast/AZ. I come from hunting GA whitetail....

eagle#eyes Report post Posted September 19, 2018 I've got a set of 7's in 8x42 and I love them. From everything i looked through in and around that price point, to even a little above it, nothing else came close.

CatfishKev Report post Posted September 19, 2018 I think you would be better served with 12s or 15s and a tripod. Tripod is VERY important.
gr8fuldoug Report post Posted September 19, 2018 The Nikon Monarch HG Binoculars are amazing. Here is a link to a review posted on another forum that is worth taking a look at. Right now there is a $100.00 instant rebate on these which make them that much nicer Please give us a call to discuss these and other optics.
