Non-Typical Solutions

CableOne/Sling

Recommended Posts

My internet provider is cableone, I recently went in with my son to get Sling so I could watch Dback games.

Two weeks ago all the sudden no Dback games.

After lengthy calls to both cableone and sling......cableone says it is not their issue but they put in a request to the "four 3rd party" companies that "sling has keeping track of my geolocation.

All greek to me.......

Sling claims they don't hire 3rd party companies for geolocation information.

Greek again to me.....

Obvious somebody is full of .........shiz........possibly me........

Anybody know how to get to the bottom of this mess short of canceling with cableone and sling???

I was told by cableone it could take 4 weeks to resolve the issue........but they don't have control of that....

cancel it. Sling has been screwing us. They change paid packages, normal channels, and hit you with rate hikes all the time. We have sling, hulu, netfilix, plex, and a few other streaming services, and they are starting to suck. The other problem is Cox slows down when we try to stream. im about to cancel it all.

Check into Youtube TV. I have been using it for over a year since I cut ties with Dish Network. It gets me pretty much all the channels I want (including D-backs games on Fox Sport Arizona,  and I pay $37 a month with taxes.
