Ringer Report post Posted August 16, 2018 I voted for Bennet just because all of the top insiders here say Ducey made a deal with McCain to appoint Cindy as the next Senator. That one just burns me. But for those of you in the far east valley, I would encourage you to look into and consider Michael "Big Mike" Hernandez for district 16 State Senate (east Mesa, AJ, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, etc. area) over David Farnsworth. I have met with Mike and have been extremely impressed. He is A STV resident, and for those of us who live in the far south east valley and are tired of feeling like Farnsworth's "red headed stepchild", Mike is your guy. I have heard that also and it has in the past been done with the reasoning that a spouse would be a fair choice as that person would have some working knowledge of what the politician does being a spouse.
