W.T.B Rifle

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine at work is looking to buy a rifle. He's looking for something from a .243 to a .270. This will be his first rifle and he would like to spend no more than $500.00. So if you have a rifle and are thinking about upgrading, downsizing, baby on the way, momma needs a new pair of shoes, please let me know. Thanks, Rich.

Is the $500 limit for just the rifle, or for rifle and scope?

He would like a package deal, but would consider a rifle only purchase for that price depending on the rifle.

I have a Ruger Mark II 7MM Mag topped with a Nikon 3x9x40 scope that I would let go for $500. Rifle is in excellent shape and the scope is brand new ($260 retail). I mounted it on another rifle, sighted it in and decided to put it on the 7mm mag instead. I haven't even sighted it in yet. Synthetic stock, stainless barrel. Ruger rings and bases, three stage trigger, hinged floor plate.

I know it's a larger caliber rifle than he is looking for, but I thought I would throw it out there.

If he is interested, email me at lanoue25@yahoo.com and I can send him some pictures.
