This will be his first rifle and he would like to spend no more than $500.00. BML Report post Posted January 23, 2008 I have a Ruger Mark II 7MM Mag topped with a Nikon 3x9x40 scope that I would let go for $500. Rifle is in excellent shape and the scope is brand new ($260 retail). I mounted it on another rifle, sighted it in and decided to put it on the 7mm mag instead. I haven't even sighted it in yet. Synthetic stock, stainless barrel. Ruger rings and bases, three stage trigger, hinged floor plate. I know it's a larger caliber rifle than he is looking for, but I thought I would throw it out there.
