creed_az_88 Report post Posted August 4, 2018 Has anybody looked through a set of kowa binoculars? How are kowa spotting scopes so impressive but their binoculars be unspoken of? I've been looking hard for a reasonable review and I just can't find one. I want to buy a family member a pair of high quality but mediocre priced binos and the 12x56 prominars interest me. I like meoptas, so unless the kowas are as good or as close to good as the meoptas then I will probably stick to meoptas. GPO's are also interesting. Hatchet Jack Report post Posted August 7, 2018 Never looked through them but Ive heard the kowa genesis line is very good, but I think the 12x you speak of are a step down. Id have a hard time thinking they are anywhere near the meopta. Im a big fan of meopta glass and believe the only 12x that tops them are ultravid and of course the EL.
