My 2 hour pig hunt....

Recommended Posts

Well guys, here it is, not much to tell. I left Show Low a little... a lot later than I wanted to on Saturday.. By the time I got to where I was going, it was too late to do any good, so that was it for that day. Woke Sunday morning to beautiful weather and hiked to my favorite rock point and set up the tripod. Right off I saw a nice 3x4 muley following a couple of does around. I decided I would watch and wait for a good stalk. They were moving at a pretty good pace, not stopping for anything. While I continued watching them I spotted a nice herd of piggies above them on the side of the mountain. There were about 6 laying under a tree and several more wandering around. I decided to put the stalk on them and hopefully pick the deer up later. The stalk went as planned and I arrowed this nice sow. Here are a couple pics.

Congratulations on your pig and a great picture but I was just wondering if there was more to the story since there were only two arrows left in the quiver? ;)

Thanks guys!! She was in 47M. No, no more to the story other than being very unprepared. I only had 2 arrows in the quiver and had freshly made arrows in the truck that were forgotten. You only need 1 arrow anyway.... right????

Thanks for the all the congrats!!!
