Ringer Report post Posted July 31, 2018 The June 19th commission telephone meeting had one issue on the table. They are selecting members of the new committee to raise funds for education. They are also asking for input on the website for AZG&F. Might want to give your input if you have any. I am hoping a few average Joe's will be on the committee and not just the big guide and gear people.
Nefarious Red Report post Posted July 31, 2018 Ringer, they voted to not form the committee of sportsmen and turn the committee over to the Department. The Department will do a presentation on the 9th of August and open up for public comment.
Ringer Report post Posted July 31, 2018 It says in the agenda from that meeting that they will be forming a committee to advise on education funding sources. Are you saying it will not include any sportsmen but just people from the department?
Nefarious Red Report post Posted July 31, 2018 They had previously voted to form the committee, the telephone meeting you are referencing is when they were to select committee members. During the telephone meeting, they opted instead to have the Department handle the committee. So yes, it was formed with only Department members.

twigsnapper Report post Posted July 31, 2018 I was irritated to hear the committee is now an internal AZGFD committee...... It will be interesting to see who is on the committee and how much fundraising experience they have.
