A baby bear from last weekend

My buddy & I were out scouting last weekend and ran into this little guy. He cam up to within 15-20 yards of us to check us out. Didn't seemed alarmed at all. Not sure where mama was, but somebody should tell him to stay the heck away from bipeds.

Looks like his ear is tagged so he may already have 1 or 2 strikes against him? :-( Or maybe my eyes are going on me.

Ionne, looks like an ear tag to me also although they are usually larger and yellow. Anyway very neat short clip by mattys281. I am sure the little guy will be fine.

We got a pretty good look at him and did not see an ear tag. That's not really one of my prime spots, but I'm thinking I may hunt there opening day just to see if he's still hanging around and maybe I can get some more pics. There were a lot of flipped over rocks & digging on that ridge, I think that's his summer time hangout.
