gaps Report post Posted July 23, 2018 Just wanted to let everyone know that Bass Pro will price match Sportsmans & Cabelas AND give you 9% off of the price of the gun which takes care of the sales tax. Normally this is not where I would purchase my guns but I couldn't find a better price and they had the 24" barrel on the HMR, normally it is the 22". I was able to buy a Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor with the 24" barrel for $894 out the door. Usually this gun is $999 plus tax but Sportsmans had it on sale for $899 so they matched it AND took off 9% which more than covered the tax. I was looking for a used rifle for my Dad but ended up buying new. The sale is good until the 29th so hopefully, this will help someone that is on the fence.
