Red Sparky Report post Posted July 2, 2018 Bad news. The NMG&F Commission is opening the deer rule for public input. It looks like they are decreasing deer tags for unit 23 and 24. This may be why for the past two years they have not had tags in those units go into the leftover tags after the draw. Going to be harder to draw deer tags in those units. Red Sparky Report post Posted July 3, 2018 Since they say the unit I bet the Burros are included. I also saw where they want to split the Sept. and Jan. hunts. Right now I can hunt all of Sept. and go back in Jan. and if I don't get a buck I can go get a doe in the Silver City Management area.
