Grong Orange,

I expected to see an icy treestand or some patches of snow on ground, bet it was a nice hunt being down south? Great job and a P&Y buck for sure.

Congrats- You've had a nice couple of months hunting coues!

HAHAHAHA!!! I wore the GRONG orange shirt the day before but just couldn't connect with it on dammit. I was really hoping to be wearing it when and if one of us was successful. Oh well, maybe I should of packed a clean on in the pack with me. Next time.....

Thanks for all the wonderful comments everyone!! I just still can't get over how completely bad-butt of an experience that was! What a fall/winter for some awesome memories! I'm just totally stoked that two of my best friends were with me on the four last kills I made. Andy's been there for the last two archery bucks of mine and Chris Gravatt was there for my archery bull this past Sept and my coues buck in early November. Neither of which I have been in on any kills with them though. Hmmm..... Guess I'll just have to keep them close by when I've got another tag.

Here's a couple live pics I took of him while I was waiting for him to get closer just in case I wasn't able to get an arrow in him.

That patch of brownish hair at the top of his back above his shoulders is what I like to call, A NASTY BATCH OF TICKS!!!!! Holy lord that deer was COVERED in them. I cleaned out the head tonight and two of those yellowish Bott Fly (?) larvas were trying to make a break for it till I knifed them in half. You talk about nearly losing my dinner!!! Those things are NASTEEEEEEE!!

Josh those are some great live shots! What type of set up where you using?

I was at the ATA (archery show) in Indy last week and tons of people asked me about Coues deer hunting with a bow. I told most of them that it was very close to impossible to kill one with a bow but now you have inspired me to get off my &**^ and work harder.

Congratulations again!

Absolutely remarkable Josh and Andy!!! Holy mackerel der Andy, how do you keep getting in all these pictures?

I feel honored to have known you both before you were famous.

I just want you both to know you can come hunting with me any time for no charge.

All kidding aside that is a fantastic buck of a lifetime with a bow Josh. Looks like it will fit in any book.

Geeezz Josh! You realise now, that if you shoot anything less than these last two bucks we will all be let down and have to place you in the "looser bracket"! :P ;) Way to go dude!
