DeathFromBelow Report post Posted June 17, 2018 Looks like the new Gila Trout world record was caught .The guy who caught it was bass fishing when he hooked 5.12 lbs Gila at Goldwater Lake . I have always loved when you are targeting one species and end up with something totally different on the end of your line .Here's the story http://www.gameandfishmag.com/fishing/trout/trophy-trout-caught-in-arizona-could-be-world-record/

Rainbow and steelhead are the same dam thing not native to NY. Nor is the brown. At least the Gila is native to AZ
Guest oneshot Report post Posted June 18, 2018 Yeah trphyhutr... The point being... the headline was deceptive, kinda like you... AzKiller, domestic rainbow and steelhead are totaly different, Browns/Rainbows were released in NY in the 1930-40's and now occur naturaly in many NY rivers/streams/lakes...
