V6 3.9, ICE COLD A/C, Automatic, ps, pb, power windows, power seat, power locks, brand new ft tires and good back tires, After market CD player with USB input, LED headlights, dome light, plate lights, aftermarket CAT back exhaust, cold air intake. New radiator, water pump, cooling fan, power steering pump, rack and pinion. Clean clear AZ Title (not a salvage title). Nice paint job..... Brand new emissions test.... Car has 176.000 miles.

Do You happen to have a 1964 1/2 with original factory 289 and original 4 barrel. I re did one in the 80's and sick that I ever sold it. Wasn't to many of them made......BOB!

They were pretty popular cars. Not much power but popular with people who wanted a car that looked sporty. The 289 only had 210 HP which was way out classed by cars like the Chevelle, GTO, 442 etc. Hi Performance parts like intake manifolds, headers cams were more expensive than ones for say small block Chevys that came from the factory with up to 165 more HP.

"Back in the day" you needed to put close to $1000 into the engine alone just to match what the other manufacturers were selling off the showroom floor.
