Sure will. I wish this were closer to the valley. Aaron Franklin has a great episode on YouTube on building a tank into a smoker. Seems like a ton of the old school Texas stick burners use old tanks.

Nope, kinda long one with kind of squareish ends.

 

Ran into a dude that took 2 ends off a big one with round ends and made a big a$$ deathstar out of it. It was freaking awesome.

 

And yea could be a great smoker.
