stanley Report post Posted June 11, 2018 Hey everyone! My kids bought me a nice little fixed blade hunting knife for Christmas last year. (Like I needed another hunting knife.... Bless their hearts! ) Anyway, it was apparently a demo / floor model, and so it did not come with a case. Figured I would ask here, if anyone in this community does leather work or knows someone who might be able to make me a sheath/scabbard for it? Thanks in advance for any tips/help! S. stanley Report post Posted June 11, 2018 Thanks guys! mbiewer, I live in Central Phoenix (Central/Camelback), but work up in N. Phoenix/Scottsdale close to the Desert Ridge area. Can/will be mobile as needed, though. Casey, I would definitely appreciate any referral. Maybe check with your friend or his dad to inquire, and if he is possibly interested let me know. Thanks! S. Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted June 12, 2018 I had an old K-Bar knife that was my grandfather's. The leather sheath was cracked, brittle and not usable. I found this leathersmith in Oro Valley. I sent the knife to him and he made a custom made a sheath for it. I love it. We'll get another 3 generations of use out of it now. (I can send or post pics if you want.) http://www.thorshammercustomleather.com/

(Love his strait talking style... ) No rush, and looking at all options. Would still love to check-out any possible local options if anyone else has a referral. Thanks everyone! S.
