Mt Ord Fire

Good thing we decided on coming to Payson Saturday to Tuesday. Dude at circle k said they have both sides of 87 shut down.

I ain't even mad.

Good point. The last fire there didn't even get close to 1/2 of the needed "cleanup" done. The scrub oak and manzanita up there is downright brutal.

Yep.... We were'nt so lucky... although luckier than most. Took the lady up to Flagstaff for the weekend. Convinced her of the short "hop" from flag to powell. GTook her kayaking up antelope canyon. Nice leisure drive home on sunday. (we avoided the construction on i-17 by going through payson). Just outside of rye, hit the back up. Turned around, took a dirt road to Jake's corner and then home. 5.5 hours to get home
