MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted May 17, 2018 Here it is boys and girls, I've been dreaming of this dish since before we had an elk tag in the family. Seared the shanks on both sides then pulled to rest, sauté the veggies lightly then deglazed pot with good red wine. Add stewed tomatoes , oregano, moms homemade hatch chili powder, salt , pepper, garlic, nutmeg, and stock made from elk bones.
