couesbuck22 Report post Posted May 15, 2018 Hey guys, I have a '81 johnson 90 horse V4, last trip down to alamo I broke a plastic piece on the motor and cannot for the life of me figure out what it's called to order a new one. On the right side of the motor where the throttle cables connect there is a pivoting arm and on top of that is a lever that connects right under the flywheel. Where it connects underneath the flywheel is the plastic piece that broke, the little lever snaps into it but it broke into little pieces the only way I can currently run the boat is at an idle.
