Browning'sCustomMeat Report post Posted January 7, 2008 sure looks like a whitetail.....but then them eyeguards.....pretty pewney from the other points and other racks. Maybe a hybrid? Possible, and possibly a whitie. All in all, definitely BIG!!

wklman Report post Posted January 8, 2008 look at the size of the head. i'd say theres a good possibility its a hybrid.
Redbeard Report post Posted January 8, 2008 Should be pretty easy to tell by comparing the sizes of the skull and teeth. Also Mulies have a much deeper "dent" in the side of the nose in front of the eye. FWIW I compared the skull and tooth/jaw size of the 117" coues I just killed and a 93" I shot a couple years ago and they are identical. They don't grow bigger heads just bigger antlers. GRONG Report post Posted January 8, 2008 Need a better close-up of that skull and hide. Looks a little on the muley side to me IMO. Redshwanz is right about the skulls too. No difference in a 200" coues head to a 90" head. I think to many people are quick to throw out the ol "hybrid" word when there's been few actually documented that actually were. Got any better pics?
