brian390 Report post Posted May 5, 2018 My dad got this gobbler on opening morning of the first season hunt last Friday. This was the earliest that we've gotten a bird called in and he was done with his hunt 20 minutes after daylight. My brother and I still have tags and we almost had another one called in on the second morning in another area of the unit but it didn't work out. We ended up calling in a hen from behind us and there was a gobbler and hens in front of us out of sight. He decided to not come in though.
