Chris Report post Posted May 1, 2018 InciWeb says just helicopters in air. Why don't they use planes?
ctafoya Report post Posted May 1, 2018 I saw a plane take off from gateway yesterday afternoon. looks like it was headed towards the rattlesnake fire. Seems like that one is more under control and not threatening structures. Not sure why they wouldn't send up there.

AZ8 Report post Posted May 1, 2018 Just confirmed by Cocnino County Sheriff: Tinder Fire started by unattended campfire off 95 road. Remember there were fire restrictions already in place. So somebody felt entitled to have an illegal campfire.
Shedhunteraz Report post Posted May 1, 2018 Shocker. Feel for all working on this beast and those who have lost homes. Had a group of illegals who thought it was smart to have a camp fire in middle of the day down by haigler sat with 30 mph winds. Forest service solved that one

It would be appopriate that they face jail time and then bankruptcy.
