Bonus Point question for applying as a party

Looking for some help here. My Father has 6 Bonus points and I have 2 for elk. If we apply on the same Application how many of the bonus points are considered within the draw system? Is it the lowest of the party? or is it a combination of the two?

They use the average of the total. Thus, you will be given 4 bonus points if just the two of you apply -- 2+6=8 by 2= 4. -TONY

What Tony said, plus you would have the application itself, so that would be 5 chips each in the kitty, I think.

Nope just a total of 5 not 5 each. The app will be given five numbers ranging from 1 to a million ( maybe not that high)

Then you are assigned the lowest number you got and thats what you go thru the draw with on the first and second choices.

Has anyone ever been drawn for a december tag with only 1 bonus point?

In 2003 I was drawn for a December tag with 1 bonus point, and it was second choice.

What unit was that in? probably had more tags back then too.

It was unit 27. They had 250 December tags then, now there are only 50.

I have been drawn twice back to back for the December hunt in unit 32.The last time was 05&06.But I took my best buck on the 2007 November hunt.
