KidBowHunter Report post Posted January 4, 2008 Well this morning I was in the blind at my Javelina spot and about 20-25 minutes after first light, I saw something really cool. I was in the blind watching the birds playing around, when I saw a gray ball fly through the air. THUD!!! I jumped up and almost dropped my bow that was lying across my lap. I saw the birds go flying and saw whatever it was landed an inch short of a bird. It was lying on the ground, when I saw his head shift a little and saw the face and pointed ears. I knew then it was a bobcat kitten. I was about to draw my bow on him when he must of heard my bow move. He stood up, looked at me in the blind, then bounded off. Ten minutes later the mom bobcat came flying by trying to find the kitten. I didn't see any pigs, but it was well worth it to see that!!!!! Troy

GameHauler Report post Posted January 4, 2008 Well Troy it sounds like with each outing you are learning there is a lot more to hunting than pulling a trigger. Cool thing to get to see. Since TJHUNT2 has not been around I will say it. (Write it Down) Those are the kind of things you forget, maybe forever or something may trigger it 30 years from now. Wouldn't it be cool for your Son (or Daughter) to some day be able to read about all the cool stuff you have seen and done as you grew up. Thanks for posting Mike

I would say to write it down. I've been away from here for a few months but finally got a chance to get back on here. That had to be a rush for you Troy. I once had a 2 lions walk up to my blind and I thinned the population out. Do write it down because you will forget as the years go passing by. TJ
