Read the old post on big game tags.

Search the old posts on here. There is a 26 page post from January 9, 2012 that is titled HB2072 Sale of Big Game Tags. That is like groundhog day. Same players trying to get tags to sell and same groups saying all the nice things about the rascals. I wonder how many of the old fighters from that day are left on here.

I'm here but seldom post on this website anymore, I'll scan through the classifieds occasionally.

 

When I was told what was going on again I knew I shouldn't have looked, even held off for a couple days.

Still here, don't post much these days. Vigilance will rule the day.

 

At some point (if it gets that far) the latest proposal will require legislation. At that time it will be appropriate to contact legislators. Meanwhile, it won't hurt to contact commisioners to voice your opinion on this matter. Wonder which legislator the players will grease this time.

Ironically, many of the same tag grab players are involved. If it gains traction, suspect most of the original players will be all over it. Control over primo AZ hunting permits = POWER, $$$ and prestige.

 

When the time comes, I will fight this or any proposal like it to the best of my abiltiy.

Problem I see this time... last time it was a legislative move to allow the sell of tags and the group keep the money to spend as they see fit, admin costs/salaries, expo, ect... stealing funds from G&F and G&F was against it... this time they are wanting to sell tags and give the money to G&F, hey do you want more money for 'education'?

 

I don't think we have the allies we had last time.
