websites that still sell used guns?

Recommended Posts

I had a pistol stolen from my truck over the weekend and with dismemberment of Backpage.com I was wondering what pages still sold guns? I would like to find the person that had the courage to steal something and shake their hand.

Police found mine at a pawn shop once, but I had to pay the pawn to get it out, even though the pawn took in stolen goods.

I received a check from the State Prison about 5 years later for restitution. I guess the thief peeled about a million potatoes to pay me back $80.

I hope you found him. I hate thieves.

Buddy called me once. Said he accidentally left his garage door open and his $3000 Specialized bike was stolen. Said he saw someone selling it on Craigslist and would I call them? I called them and the guy said sure, meet me at such and such grocery store parking lot. I go to the parking lot and the guy never shows up. I call him and the guy makes up some excuse, and then gives me some residential address to go to. I look up the address on Google Maps and me and my friend see the guy has like 5 cars parked out front and 5 cars parked in the backyard, looked like a salvage yard disguised in a house. Went there, and some guy with a different name comes out, and doesn't sound like the guy I spoke to on the phone. He obviously looks like a tweaker, and he says sorry that bike is sold, but I have this young girl's bike for sale - my daughter doesn't want it anymore. I thought SOB, stealing all these bikes and selling them.

My buddy and I called the police and not sure anything was ever done - my friend never got his bike back. I think the best we can do is make a police report and provide the serial number of the firearm and hope.
