Weatherby Vanguard 30-06 w/ Wood Stock $295

I have a Weatherby Vanguard 30-06 for sale. This rifle in pristine condition goes for 600-700. However this rifle is not in pristine condition. There are several scratches and dings in the stock. The action and barrel however are in great condition. The bore is good, the action is butter smooth, and it has been fired less than 100 times. This was my dads rifle, and he only used it for a few elk and deer hunts. He was not always good about taking precautions when setting it down in the field or the truck, hence the scratches and dings in the stock. But he was good about cleaning the rifle before storing it in the safe. The stock also has one small crack in the stock (can be seen in the photo of the action with the bolt open). I'd like to get $295 for this rifle. The sling comes with the rifle, and I also have a basic gun scabbard that comes with the rifle as well. This would make a great starter rifle, or great platform for a semi custom rifle. This rifle has always shot MOA with factory ammo. I'm just trying to get extra funds for a hunt with my little brother later this fall.

Those Marlin 22 mags are way accurate for a cheap rimfire! Mine will shoot in the .6's at 100 yds with the 30 gr v- max.

30-06 is up for grabs still. I'll lower it to $325 bucks firm. If I can't get rid of it at that price, I'll probably just strip it and use the action for a 6.5-06 AI rifle project. Thanks for looking.
