Ranger bass boat

Recommended Posts

I forgot to add one important thing.

the fuel line and fuel bulb make sure you ONLY by factory or what Brent over at performance marine suggest you get.

reason being they are not all created equal.

cheap fuellines and bulbs use cheap material and they god bad and very bad or a year or 2 they desinigrate from the inside and little chunks clog the fuel pump. hences my buddies org issue. the heat and fuel we use here tears them up pretty good

its one thing you dont want to skimp on and its really not worth worrying about an extra 10 or 20 bucks more if they cost that much more

back in the day where we were mixing gas in the tank with oil is wasnt a big deal as the 2 stroke oil luricated the fuel line inside. today its oil injection and your only running gas through those cheap things.

lots of good used boat out there.

couple of my rules not to buy from.

dudes who were patch pirate shirts, they usually beat there bass boats to crap and are too cheap to get proper service done to them.

clean freaks they usually over look the mechanics of a boat and concentrate on looks

chicks with big fake boobs or blondes. we'll there just clueless and there to take your mind off the real problems.

if your looking for a good bass boat and find one on the net usually a bass forum search the guys posts over the last few years and see what he has problems with again. you can tell alot by that. like if there cheap and mickey mouse everything, always looking for free stuff, etc etc.

nothing wrong with buy from a tourny guy if he is over 40-50 they generally take good care of there stuff unless the fall into the above categories. if its a newer boat like 2000 and newer take it to a mechanic and have them run a computer to see if there is any codes on it.
