CouesPursuit Report post Posted March 27, 2018 It's been a great year so far, and the crappie are in full swing, especially with this warm and steady swath of weather coming. All major crappie lakes (Roosevelt, Alamo, San Carlos, Bartlett and Pleasant) have been producing either from personal experience or through pictures and reports from some close friends of mine. This is a great time of year to get first timers and the kids involved! I had the pleasure of having three buddies and three 4-6 year old boys on my boat these last 2 weekends. The boys all landed and netted their own fish by the end of each morning. The freezer is stocked and we have a few more fisherman dreaming among us. Tight lines.
