10Turkeys Report post Posted May 17, 2018 Although I haven't tried them in my .270, I probably wouldn't hesitate using a Hornady 145gr ELD-X on an Elk, if I ever get drawn for one. On the ELD-X line, I wonder why Hornady doesn't offer them in a lighter bullet? Say a 120 in a 6.5, a 130 in .270, and maybe a 150 in .308? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
