More D Report post Posted March 21, 2018 I'm interested in building a sub box for my truck. Something under the rear bench. There are lots of boxes available but not to my liking. I want to build it but I have zero wood working tools or skills for that matter. Years ago I build some kitchen drawers but that is it. Anyone here do this as a hobby? Have table saws, routers, etc? More D Report post Posted March 22, 2018 Far from it hoghntr. Although I understand that it works great for predator calling! Bass wise that photo looks like an old school set up. Back then each of those subs probably had 50-100 watts pushing them. I am not too sure because I had no money for that kind of stuff back then. My current plan is for one 10inch or two 8inch driven by 800 actual watts integrated into the factory Bose system. Now a days, for me at least, it is about quality than attracting attention. That is why I am looking for something different. Everything I have seen looks just like a sub box. Too squared and angular. I am hoping for something that looks like it could have been there from the factory. I appreciate the offer Non-Typ. I am in not too much of a hurry other than wanting to finish my truck.
