willhunt4coues Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I wanted your guys opinion on the LEUPOLD WIND RIVER spotting scope. Do any of you have one and if you do do you like it? ( I don't want to know about the sworos they are way toooooo expensive at that price I could buy enough meat to last my family 3 years ). I just want to know about the leupolds. longshooter Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I have a wind river as a back up but dont use it since I got my 20-60x80 vortex skyline ed. Before you spend the money take a good look at vortex you can get a vortex nomad for under 300 and a skyline for under 700. couesnutt Report post Posted December 31, 2007 i got a leupold but after looking threw the vortex 20x60x80 i am very impressed. It wasnt even the ED version that i looked threw it was just the regular skyline very impressed you can get one for around 400 you might want to check them out before buying the leupold.
