Besh-ba-gowah archaelogical park lights up the night!

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Every year the local archaelogical park does an evening where they put out hundreds of luminarias out on the walls of an indian ruin. The ruins are fairly large and in some cases have been reconstructed a bit to look like what they suspect they were before time took it's toll on them. It's a maze of walls and rooms and the park puts out hot cider, and has live music and bonfires for everyone. It's a really neat event and we went there last night to try and get some photos of it. But of course before we could go there, my husband made my dad and I go watch the full moon rise (it's just something my husband loves to do! and I like it too really). It was a great moonrise and then we went over and tried to get some pics of the Besh-ba-gowah park. Here are some pics. It's a great event for this time of year!

Amanda,

when I tried to read the thread title I thought you had gotten into the P.P. margaritas again

or is it egg nog

Very cool pictures.

The neighbor hood I grew up in did that thoughout the whole place.

I wish I would have thought of that sooner, I would have done my house.

Thanks for sharing.

Mike

There was an article about that place in the EV Tribune a week or so ago and it looks really neat. I'm planning on taking my kids there one of these Saturdays.
