Edge Report post Posted February 23, 2018 Southwest side of the bradshaws, near fort misery, wheels canyon Close enough. But near the junction of Eddy and San Damingo Wash and Anderson Mill. There's another arrarstra about 1 1/2 mile north.

There's another arrarstra about 1 1/2 mile north. Is Anderson mill the one with all the old marsten matting for stairs? My parents worked the Midnight Owl mine for collectible minerals years back. I used to tag along and go quail hunting. I found an old arrastra west of it once. Could be the one you mention as 1 1/2 miles north.

Sounds like I was at a different arrastra. When I found it I had hiked west of the midnight owl. One Landmark I remember was the old mixer drum that used to be up on poles like a tower. Last time I saw it somebody had cut it down to salvage the poles.
