fatfootdoc Report post Posted December 24, 2007 Well I decided binoculars are like boats, you can never have one big enough!. I hunted with my swaro 10 els, and realized that I could see more with them than my 15 fujinons. So cabelas had their promo of one year no payments and no interest, and that coupled with a large gift card and my new 15x 56 's should be here the day after Christmas!! I kind of knew that I would want them after getting the 10 power. I cant wait to test them out. I actually really considered the Leicas with the range finder but they only have a 10 year warranty and if I am going to spend that much they better be a lifetime guarantee. Plus they did not fit my huge head very well!! If I am near as happy with them as I am with my EL's things will be good!! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night(could not resist , sorry ) ag

fatfootdoc Report post Posted December 24, 2007 Casey, I tried a pair of the leica duovids before I bought my el's and they did not fit my head, oh and on the wall target I looked at in Sportsmens, they caused a burning desire in me to aim at the right antler and skull plate of the deer!!! Sorry that was kind of mean!! AG

ajohunter Report post Posted December 24, 2007 Shoulda looked at the Leica Duovids! Coulda sole your sorryvorskis in 10x and had TWO pairs of premium binos in one Since when did Leica become considered "premium"?....... You know why Leica made the Duovids dont you Casey? Because it takes at least 2 pair of Leicas to equal the power of one pair of the "EYES OF GOD"!!....I mean the power of one pair of Swarovskis!........ firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted December 24, 2007 I do believe the Leicas attributed to the biggest buck killed in October, am I correct

CouesSlayer Report post Posted December 25, 2007 I bought Steiner Merlins in 10x42 cuz it's all a poor kid can afford hahaha they're pretty sweet but I would definitley go with Swaros. Leica just sounds a little fruity to me anyway....
fatfootdoc Report post Posted December 25, 2007 If my wife finds out what I spent I will get a large lump of coal upside the head!! they emailed me the offer and you had to log on through the email, unfortunately it had to be by dec 23rd I believe. Casey the leicas may have contributed to the killing of the buck, but there is an old saying that goes"even a blind pig can find a root now and then!!" ag
