Snapshot Report post Posted February 18, 2018 You can pull the back panel off the back of the freezer to see if the fan is working. The fan pushes cold air from the freezer into the lower compartment via the air ducts in the freezer. Make sure they are not plugged. You can locate them after the panel is removed from the back of the freezer.

bonecollector Report post Posted February 19, 2018 I clean the condenser coil annually. I think its a defrost problem where the evap coil is froze up and not allowing the air flow. I have it unplugged now to defeost and will see if it works afterwards.

More D Report post Posted February 19, 2018 I have a Samsung that will not make ice. Fridge top/bottom freezer. It is only 7-8 years old. Other than no ice it works great. I cleaned the coils even though they were not bad at all. I even replaced the water valve but still no luck. Next step it to buy a replace ice maker. Any one having the same issues?
