GameHauler Report post Posted December 23, 2007 Jim, don't listen to Bill. I feel sorry for your wife since bighorn fever has set in I would rather have been 3' short than over. By the way Ajo, the first thing I learned when I drew my tag was to never judge a Ram from the rear. They all look big. Congrats to the hunter and all who helped. ajohunter Report post Posted December 24, 2007 Yeah thats a fact. It seems all animals with horns or antlers look bigger from the back. As for sheep being stupid I disagree....lol....They are the only animal I know that can climb straight up a flat rock and look right through it to the other side!... These sheep out here are also smart in the fact they like to roam in places you would never expect to see them. The sheep in the pics were where nobody ever thinks to look for them. Except for us that is!..hehe!

They are saying those things because they are pissed because they have not drawn a tag. A sheep tag puts you into a new world. You can not imagine what it is like till you have that tag, Cost me a ton of money, and a lot of time and some damage to my Super Duty. If someone draws a sheep tag from here I will pinstripe my truck from front to rear to help them fill that tag. We love our Coues but the brotherhood in sheep hunting goes right down to the bone. Not a toad, Best in that unit in 10 years.( I think) 157" [ Mike
DesertBull Report post Posted December 25, 2007 There is a picture in the Mesa Sportsmans Warehouse of a HUGE ram killed just a few days ago. The note on the pic says 184" from unit 24B. Anyone see it? I don't know anything about sheep, but that ram is a BRUISER!
