We are ranked 19th hunting site on the net!

Recommended Posts

Well, you guys have pushed us up higher than I remember the site being ranked before. Nice work! I might be remembering wrong, so someone please correct me if we have been higher than 19 before (ranking is always displayed in the little green box at the bottom of all the pages on the site). But I think it's pretty cool to be ranked so high. By the way, the ranking is based on the average number of visitors over the last 5 days. It's a ranking of the top big game sites on the net. They call it the top 100 but actually they only display the top 100 and many more than that are in the ranking. So it's pretty rewarding to be in the top 20 of all big game hunting sites on the 'net especially when you consider that Coues deer only occur in a very small region of the world!

Must be because of the super 80 hunt :P

Just in the mid 20"s

You do a GREAT job Amanda ;)

We get away with a little bit more than most sites

And on that note

Guys I have a sailors mouth but,

Some of our post us some words we really do not have to use.

You almost hate to relate a hunting site to Golf, but Coueswhitetail.com is under par on the leaderboard.

Wow I am really bummed. I really misjudged this sight. I thought we would be at least 13 or fourteen. This is five more then my goal. Man I am depressed.

Congratulations Amanda, I am actually with 25-06 This sight is number one.

It is pretty darn impressive that this sight ( which concentrates on ONE species) that this sight is top 20!! That is the most impressive part to me!

What can we do to get you into the top ten?

Well, in order to get in the top 10 we would have to get average visitation up to over 2500 unique visitors per day. That's not really likely to happen. The ranking is based on the average number of unique visitors over the last 5 days. Our avg number of visitors fluctuates from 700-900 a day. Most visitation to this site happens during the week and it drops appreciably on the weekend. So if the last 5 day avg includes the weekend days it will be lower than if it is just M-Fri.

(If only the counter took into the account the number of times each visitor came back to this site during each day! Wow, then Gamehauler would propel us into the top 10 no problem  )

If you want to help boost the ranking of this site, you need to go find more people to become coues obsessed fanatics who can't live without the site! :D One thing that hundreds of you have done to help with visitation to the site is to put those large CouesWhitetail.com stickers on your vehicles. I hear from lots of people who say they heard about the site because they saw a sticker!

And of course the reason that people love the site once they get here is because there is always something interesting to read and look at either on the main site or the forum. So when you guys post all your interesting hunt trips and photos, info on equipment, etc you are really helping make this a great place for hunters to spend time. Thank you!

I agree with you on that one Casey, although it's not one species, it's one SUB-species - even more amazing!
