Barrels for AR10

I have an AR-10 that has a short barrel with a pinned muzzle break. I would like to shoot it suppressed any suggestions on the cheapest way to go about that? Should I purchase another barrel that is already threaded? Any ideas that would allow me to do this without spending a fortune? Anybody have one laying around that they don't need?

If the pinned break was removed would the diameter of the barrel underneath it be large enough to thread for the suppressor?

I'm guessing yes, and suspect that it is already threaded at the correct size because of the brake but my understanding is you cant legally do it because it would drop below the 16 inch length. Is this correct. I was hoping for a solution like another barrel that was long enough to be legal.

I think you are correct. You can find AR10 barrels for under $200.

I think kingzero was selling a used barrel, don't remember how much tho. You might have to do a color change too.

I forgot about pinning barrels to a short barrel to make it permanently 16 or more. I was thinking of barrels that had pinned brakes to comply with no threaded muzzle laws some states have

Yep, still have it and the gas block too. Perfect setup for shooting suppressed.
