Heat Report post Posted February 14, 2018 Trout from Big Lake like this (this one is a cuttbow I think) are a blast to catch on light tackle when the ice first melts and the water is cold. Shedhunteraz Report post Posted February 14, 2018 Perhaps the light tackle is where im going wrong. Had 4 small hits on power bait yesterday and no fish. You guys ever use mouse tails? Saw some YouTube vids. my youngest and i pool jump all along haigler. He bought some last time we refilled the tackle box and he kills it those things. I would have never thought.
