cjl2010 Report post Posted February 12, 2018 After fishing Roosevelt all day I thought I would take my rifle to the range to shoot some groups. This particular rifle is a 1/2 minute gun with a few .25-.3 groups in between. I havent shot in over a month and wanted to see how things went. I printed two .75-.85 groups. Would you think a half minute rifle should shoot a half minute every time you grab it? Or, should the shooter be accountable for majority of the tiny groups? Should anyone be able to buy a 1/2 minute gun off the shelf and print 1/2 minute groups with it? I hate shooting 100 yd groups!!

5guyshunting Report post Posted February 12, 2018 You should just drink more beer. The body weight ratio is probably the culprit for these catastrophic results.

lancetkenyon Report post Posted February 12, 2018 Shooter. I would most definitely say very few people can shoot a 1/2" group, even if the rifle is a 1/4" gun.
