Tiny groups

Recommended Posts

After fishing Roosevelt all day I thought I would take my rifle to the range to shoot some groups. This particular rifle is a 1/2 minute gun with a few .25-.3 groups in between. I havent shot in over a month and wanted to see how things went. I printed two .75-.85 groups. Would you think a half minute rifle should shoot a half minute every time you grab it? Or, should the shooter be accountable for majority of the tiny groups? Should anyone be able to buy a 1/2 minute gun off the shelf and print 1/2 minute groups with it?

I hate shooting 100 yd groups!!

I've been laying off myself lately. My pants are fitting loser, but I'm not sure it's worth it. Seems like being fat & happy is better than lean & mean....

Shooter. I would most definitely say very few people can shoot a 1/2" group, even if the rifle is a 1/4" gun.
