Hoss50 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 I am considering a pair of their QD rings for my CZ 550. Does anyone have any experience or feedback on them? Thanks Harley
300RUM Report post Posted February 3, 2018 About 25 years ago I had a pair of Warne throw lever QD rings on a rifle. I expect the design you are looking at is similar. The design worked but I have never bought another set. I did feel sometimes that the clamps did not grip as tight as I would like. I do not recall any zero shift issues because of that. In the end the QD just was not really necessary for my needs. I used weaver for a while and now use picatinny. Just loosen the clamp nut and they come off plenty fast if you need to work on the rifle and want the scope out of harms way. Do you have a need to be able to remove the scope in the field without tools?
Hoss50 Report post Posted February 3, 2018 I don't need the QD feature but I like it. I don't really want a rail on this rifle, beside the rail and ring setup I found for it costs more than the QD by about $75. I want to keep the look of the rifle old school. The rail isn't old school.
