azshtr Report post Posted January 29, 2018 I'm just wondering who pays for it all? The original transplant of elk into Arizona was funded by the ELKs lodge of Yuma. Just a little trivia.
cactusjack Report post Posted January 30, 2018 Those dead elk feed the coyotes, foxes birds and bugs in Az, so are they truly lost? Sweating the small stuff is what game and fish is all about. Lost revenue is lost revenue.
knothead Report post Posted January 30, 2018 If you want more elk in AZ stop killing all the baby makers. I can only guess the people that are not liking these AZ elk being sent to WV are also against the killing of cow elk. I once read that a cow on average produces between 7-10 elk. Want to make a difference? There is your chance.
Roosevelt Mark Report post Posted January 30, 2018 Which came first the chicken or the egg? So how many elk does a bull make? I don't think anyone on this thread was dead set against it, just questioning the economics involved. That's all. Against the killing of cow elk..lmao not sure where you came up with that analogy.
