My Rights As An American Report post Posted January 24, 2018 Need someone who can disconnect and reconnect a gas line for a gas dryer. Near BassPro. Inline valve. Want someone registered/certified. Wife scared I will blow the house up. She told me she would be pissed at me if I blew up the house and killed everyone. Told her she cant be pissed if dead. Told me to find someone. Conversation over. How much should I expect to pay for such a ridiculously simple job? Thanks!
TOBY Report post Posted January 24, 2018 75-100 per hour for a licensed plumber. 5 minute job. Hook up new line, turn it on, soapy water in a spray bottle to check for leaks. Done.
ThomC Report post Posted January 24, 2018 Do it when she gone, only blow up yourself. You can be deaf or dead cant hear her, but if you fix it your self then you have another hundred to buy whatever you want, win/win.

What he and elkoholic said. I used to install every appliance for Lowes from generators to insinkerators. Install it use some pipe thread goop and call your gas company, tell them you want a pilot light checked. They'll be out the same day.
