1uofacat Report post Posted January 17, 2018 Seriously? $150 for them to tell you what published odds are? Makes me want to say I'll do it for $140!
Flatlander Report post Posted January 17, 2018 TopRut is free, but not as accurate. And for $150 on gohunt you get every western state. Also, the time it takes to calc every hunt just in AZ is significant. Only the raw data is published, AZGfF does not provide calculated odds in any form other than whats in the regs which are completely worthless.

I've had gohunt in the past and their odds weren't too far off topruts. Unless gohunts new update changed things.

Delw Report post Posted January 17, 2018 Just put in for where you want to hunt and hopefully you get it. haha thats what we do and I'm at 100 % success 3 years in a row early archery bull elk unit 8..before that is was 3 tags in 4 years for rifle lope unit 9. I always sucked at math too imagine that one of these days I am going to play the odd maybe I will get drawn for deer or pigs
Beaton Report post Posted January 18, 2018 Did you kill a good antelope in unit 9?
wapitibob Report post Posted January 18, 2018 Gohunt buys the same database as Toprut for AZ, NV, WY, and NM. Both create their own draws and derive odds from there. Toprut publishes the nr AZ elk point pools, gohunt provides a trend line. They are both accurate within the context of a random draw, where it really comes down to your luck and your random number. ThomC Report post Posted January 31, 2018 Past performance does not guarantee future results. It is a lottery you my lose all of your money. Enter at your own risk. Even if you win you will then spend more money on the odd chance that a animal will let you outsmart them. The real winners are the carefree lol bureaucrats waiting with baited breath for the final count of dollars coming in.
