300RUM Report post Posted January 14, 2018 I usually fling arrows but if I do get a HAM tag I like to carry a Coonan Arms .357 magnum. It is a somewhat uncommon gun. If I take it hunting I load Hornady 158 XTP's for it.

300RUM Report post Posted January 14, 2018 That coonan is such an awesome gun Thanks. I have had it for almost 30 years. Took a few pigs along the way. I used to shoot IPSC with it. Range officers would groan when I showed up, it dented pepper poppers. I started downloading it so that did not happen. Nice gun right out of the box. It has a pivoting trigger instead of a bow trigger and comes with a clean 3 lb break from the factory. Extended slide release and safety are standard. The BoMar sight is an option. You do need big paws to be able to wrap them around the grip.
